Muse from Meta: is the free personal agent enough?

Prices checked October 14, 2026. Prices change often, so check the vendor's pricing page before you buy. This page may contain affiliate links. See our disclosure.

Short version: Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. It can take actions for you and connect to other apps and services. Most people should start on the free plan.

Pricing (from Meta's Muse subscriptions help page)

Plan Price Weekly allowance
Free $0 Usage limit (Meta doesn't publish the number)
Power $20/mo 500M Muse tokens/week
Maximum $100/mo 3B Muse tokens/week

According to Meta, the paid plans add weekly usage, and benefits can vary by region and account. Subscriptions are still in limited testing and aren't available everywhere yet. You have to be 18+ and log in with a Meta account, and plans renew monthly. Meta doesn't explain how many tasks a "Muse token" covers, so it's hard to know in advance how far your allowance will go.

Who should upgrade

Stay on free until you run into the weekly limit more than once. Then Power is the obvious next step.

Watch-outs

  • It's tied to your Meta account, so think about what you connect to it.
  • It's a new product, and features and limits may change.
